Submission

Manuscripts must be uploaded at http://sas2009.edmgr.com/

STOP PRESS (Dec 22)! By popular request, we are EXTENDING the deadline for submissions until the end of January!

Fully reviewed and corrected manuscripts must be submitted by June 2010. The Proceedings will be published in the Autumn of 2010.

Journal

The Proceedings will be published by the UK Institute of Physics in their Journal of Physics: Conference Series.

This is an online, open-access, journal indexed by Web of Knowledge, PubMed Central and Google Scholar, and abstracted by Chemical Abstracts Service, INSPEC, ISI Proceedings and Scopus, amongst others.

In the opinion of the Local Organising Committee J. Phys. Conf. Ser. represented the best compromise between visibility, access and cost.

Papers submitted to the Proceedings will be peer-reviewed. In this task the assistance of delegates attending SAS-2009 would be most welcome. Please help if asked.

Potential authors may like to note that because J. Phys. Conf. Ser. is an online journal:

  • there will be no page limits (within reason!)
  • colour figures are encouraged
  • multimedia content can be included
