Scientific Scope of the Conference
The Conference is aimed at anyone with an interest in the application, science and technology of Small-Angle Scattering (SAS), this includes:
- academic researchers
- industrial researchers
- large-scale facility SAS operators
- SAS equipment manufacturers
- experimental support equipment manufacturers
The Conference will cover all forms of SAS, whether performed with light, X-rays or neutron beams, including surface-related techniques such as grazing incidence, and dynamical forms such as correlation spectroscopy. Contributions involving new and emerging forms of SAS will be particularly welcome.
Session themes include:
- Biological systems
- Ceramics, glasses & porous materials
- Colloids and solutions
- Data processing
- Dynamical techniques (including PCS, MISANS & SESANS)
- Environmental science
- Fibres & hierarchical structures
- Imaging
- Instrumentation (including detectors & sample environment)
- Kinetic & time-resolved measurements
- Magnetic systems
- Membranes
- Metallic systems
- Polymers
- Surfaces & interfaces (including GISAS)
- Theory & modelling
